Using the Tiller to Prepare the Garden for Planting: Video
One way we've found that the mantis tiller works well is if you actually pull it backwards. What I mean is that if you take the time to walk it forward and really dig it into the soil, then you can push down easier while pulling it backward, and that really grabs the clumps from the soil and breaks them up.
It also means that we can till a 20ft x 30ft garden in about 45 minutes to an hour, instead of the 3-5 hours it used to take by shovel.
The sales video clips and the yelling man on TV really make this tiller look like it's simple to use -- which of course is what they want to do when trying to sell you something. The great thing about this tiller clip is that you get to actually see a "real person" using one to till their own garden.
